Living Areas in the House

  • As is well known, Can Tunicu is located in a rural area where there is currently no fiber optic connection for the Internet. However, you do not have to do without a stable, reliable and fast internet! We installed our own outdoor antenna, which belongs to third generation “V3” (cross polarized [XPOL], cellular band, 2x2 MIMO). In connection with a downstream router, this supplies all four Smart TVs as well as the WiFi stations in the house and outdoors via CAT7 cable with Internet. Whether you just want to check and send e-mails or WhatsApp messages, play computer games or stream videos, the Internet on Can Tunicu allows you to do so without any problems.

  • A telephone is available to our guests in the house, which can be used free of charge for calls within Spain.

  • The walls of almost every room in the house are decorated with mostly genuine paintings, drawings, graphics or art prints.

Kitchen and pantry

The kitchen, which is accessible from the small terrace, has a separate pantry which houses a free-standing fridge-freezer and also the dishwasher. In the kitchen room there is a built-in corner bench with a table and opposite is the working and cooking area in a typical country house style.

Dining room

The dining room is on the same level as the kitchen, to which it is connected by a round arch. In addition to a buffet cabinet, a sideboard decorated with carvings and a side table, there is a large dining table with the associated chairs. All furniture is made of solid wood.

A split air conditioning system is used in the dining and living room for cooling or heating, depending on the season. In addition, there is an electric heater for extreme winters, which are quite rare.

Two wide steps on the long side of the room lead to the slightly lower living room.

aprox. 270 sq.ft.

Living room

The living room is the central and largest room in the house. It is characterized by an imposing hearth made of hewn stones. To improve heating efficiency in the cold season, we installed a cast-iron stove.

A dowry chest that has been in the family for several centuries is located directly below the Smart TV, where the WiFi router and telephone are also located.

A round glass table on an old wagon wheel, a designer couch and four leather armchairs complete the picture alongside an antique display case imported from China.

A flight of stairs leads up to the master bedroom with its own bathroom and four steps down to the small bedroom and vintage bathroom. Another bedroom is located behind the fireplace and is accessed via a step.

A double arched door leads directly to the main terrace.
