Finca Can Tunicu - Pure nature in Ibiza

A 194,000 sq.ft. property on a mountain with a typical country house that will make your finca holidays something special

An Ibiza vacation rental at Finca Can Tunicu has little to do with what most tourists on the island expect or are looking for!

Demanding individualists can spend relaxing finca holidays here in a real sanctuary in almost complete seclusion, far away from mass tourism and party noise.

Whether you want to be undisturbed with your family, good friends or colleagues, want to spend a very special honeymoon or plan to telecommute for professional purposes as a digital nomad, you will enjoy it here.

The Casa Mestre de Dalt (i.e. the upper master house) on Can Tunicu is just such a country house for a relaxed finca holiday on a plot of more than 18,000 m2. The special thing about this is the exposed location at a height of approx. 160 meters on the top of a hill that can only be reached via a private dirt road.

From here you have a unique view of the valley of Es Broll de Buscastell, a living testimony to the irrigation techniques inherited from the Moors. The stream is fed by the Es Broll spring, one of the island’s most important aquifers. Its course is dotted by a series of canals, pools, ditches and floodgates, which provide continuous irrigation to the agricultural plots which were built with the help of stone walls in the form of terraces.

Casa Mestre de Dalt was built around 1970 on the remains of a family-owned former farmhouse from the 16th or 17th century, preserving the typical Ibizan architectural style. It is therefore not a house that, like many others, was built just for the purpose of tourist rentals as a holiday home or holiday villa, but built as a home used by the owner family outside of the tourist season.

To the tourist center of San Antonio on the west coast or the charming "white" village of Santa Gertrudis in the geographic heart of the island it is only 8-10 km (or about 5-6 mi) and Ibiza town is 17-22 km (or about 11-14 mi) depending on the route chosen.

What are you waiting for? Casa Mestre de Dalt has been opened to tourism to offer something special to those looking for a different Ibiza.
